Loggin In
- Go to the LibGuides main page at: https://mccs.libapps.com
- Enter your MCCS email address and your LibGuides password if you have one. Otherwise, contact your system admin to request a new account.
- If you've forgotten your password, select "Reset Password?" and check your email for the prompt to change your own password. If you are already logged into LibGuides and would like to change your password, click on your email address in the upper right corner of LibGuides to change your password in the "My Account" screen.
- To edit your profile, select LibApps from the upper-left corner (blue box). Once in LibApps, select "My Profile," where you can edit your profile and load your picture or avatar. The recommended picture dimensions are roughly 140 pixels x 158 pixels. Your actual dimensions may vary. If you would like to resize your picture, go to picresize.com. Upload your photo and set the width to 140px. The height will automatically adjust proportionally.
Creating Your Guide
- Create a brand new guide or copy an existing one based on a template.
- Change guide options such as Title / Description, Subject & Tag associations, Friendly URLs, Guide editors, Previous / Next buttons, Publication status, and more.
- Add content such as boxes, html elements, databases, media/widgets, links, books, documents/files, RSS feeds, list, and other components.
Publishing Your Guide
- Publish your guide for public access.
