Hawaiʻi was once ruled by a monarchy and Iolani Palace was their official residence. You can walk the halls of royalty and learn about the Hawaiian Kingdom’s history, rulers, and the palace itself during tours (we recommend the docent-led tour to get started, since they can answer questions we’re sure you’ll have along the way).
Special note: Be sure to read “Things to Know Before You Visit” on the Tours & Admission page before you go for guidance regarding attire, photography, young children, signage, personal belongings, and service animals.
Learning and Adventuring go hand and hand, which is why we've selected a few books to read before or after your adventure at ʻIolani Palace.
