EFMP Recommended Reading

This recommended reading list includes titles in the MCBH Library's collection that address topics frequently assisted by MCBH Exceptional Family Member Program

Managing the care and services for a family member with special needs — whether it’s a spouse, child or dependent adult — is a lot easier with the right support. The best place to start is to enroll them in the military-wide Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP).  To help support exceptional family members, the MCBH Library created a recommended reading list of titles addressing topics commonly assisted by EFMP.  Each topic includes books for both adults and children, including non-fiction information, memoirs of lived experiences, and fictional stories about the topic in both traditional format books and graphic novels.
