EFMP Recommended Reading

This recommended reading list includes titles in the MCBH Library's collection that address topics frequently assisted by MCBH Exceptional Family Member Program

The MCBH library has other resources to help families enrolled in EFMP.  Many of our Makerspace items are great for hands-on learning, unique interests, and sensory needs. 

Ask a librarian for assistance in finding the following items and more!

  • Sensory bins- Containers with sensory components like kinetic sand, pompoms, or small pebbles
  • Squishy Circuits- Electrical circuits using conductive and insulating play dough
  • Meeper Bots- device-controlled robot vehicles that can be combined with LEGO building
  • Sphero Specdrums Musical Rings- App-enabled music rings that allow you to tap on anything to create and mix sounds
  • OSMO- Use physical game pieces to play digital games on an iPad
