It is a fun idea; toy dinosaurs get into mischief while children sleep. How about taking this idea and making a library program, dedicated to dinosaurs?
I'm Julie Bramman and I'm an Armed Forces Librarian. I've worked in DoD Libraries and public schools for 24 years. My first Dinovember library program was at Landstuhl Library in 2014.
Use your library’s print and online resources to find dinosaur-themed crafts
Natural History Museums offer a wealth of inspiration. Check ‘em out!
Does your library have a 3D printer? Use it to print dinosaurs!
This cookie cutter was found on Thingiverse. Teach patrons how to 3D print then use their build to make delicious dino cookies or play with play dough! Make dinos from air dry clay and paint them - the possibilities are endless!
Encourage patrons to create their own Dinovember scene. Reward the winner with dinosaur prizes and a pass to a local Natural History Museum!
