Kits designed to help patrons of all ages learn a new skill. These kits are all available to be checked out from the Marine Corps Base Hawaii Library.

Why make it? 

Learning to make things rather than buying them enhances creativity, leads to new innovations, and increases understanding of the mechanics of the world around you. The “Maker Movement” is rapidly gaining popularity.

Makerspace Kits

A set of items designed to help people learn a certain skill set.  They include tools, books, and links to find additional information online. Some are for kids, some are for adults and young adults.

Registered patrons (Ages 18 and up) can check these kits out for three weeks. If unavailable, holds can be placed on a kit. Note: You can only borrow one kit at a time.
